Creativity has no limits

Creativity has no limits.

That moment when i realized, “i can write five daily, differently-themed blog posts every day, but i don’t need to post them live every day.”

This made the climb to that 3,000 published blog post milestone so much more fun.

You only reach 3k once. To have it on the scariest day of the year was perfect.

What i’m remembering today isn’t what you’d think

What i’m remembering today isn’t what you’d think.

Obviously, today is the eighth anniversary of the day the world stopped turning.

And..

It’s when i realized i needed to not post on the weekends in September 2010 to reach the 3,000th blog post milestone on Halloween.

i still wrote (every day) on tthe weekends, but had those posts scheduled to post after October 31, 2010.

Wanted to be able to say, “i’ve just reached the 3k blog post milestone, how scary is that?”

Where Will This Lead?
Where Will This Lead?

Have you ever felt totally vulnerable? I mean, to our entire world? Me neither. Until last year.

What started years ago as a half-hearted, but well-intentioned effort to blog, has now become a labor of love.

Five blogs daily. Every day. Crazy. Wonderful. Exciting.

A couple weeks ago, I humbly invited any followers to consider being a Guest Blogger in one of the five areas – Mind, Body, Spirit, Money, HQ.

Tomorrow, you will meet Bob, a Tennessee native. Bob has been so encouraging over the past year. His insights are always effective – revealing what we might call, “the truth”.

Building on yesterday’s jeff noel blog post…..

Blogging every day, and posting on the Internet for the world to see, adds an element of risk few people can comprehend.

Why?

Because anyone, and I do mean anyone, can “see what you think” – can “see what you value”.

There is also a saying in life, “Nothing ventured, nothing gained”. Risk has it’s own rewards.

Are you determined to find out what they are? Carpe diem.

Want To Know The Benefits?

One of the benefits to blogging every day is going through the process of what to write and how to write it. Only people who “journal” or “write a diary” daily can fully appreciate this phenomenon.

And, if I do say so myself, the process of posting it on a public Internet blog for the world to see, adds an untapped benefit that “private writers” have yet to discover.

The daily act requires more effort than occasional blogging, in my opinion. Over time, your creativity and your topics could dry up. Plus, you really have to think long and hard about what you value. And if you ever expect people to “follow your path”, you have to know and study your audience.
