Practice run

12-second video…it had been a couple weeks since summiting Oberlin so went up the day before Jody Maberry arrived, knowing this would be our warmup hike…next two photos are Jody “discovering” the hidden Mickey stones…

Surprise and delight with a relatively easy arrival hike and a rare hidden Mickey encounter.

Reynolds Catwalk welcomes you

14-second video

Reynolds Catwalk welcomed Jody Maberry with open arms. We fought a steady, strenuous wind the entire time. Thankfully, we stayed dry. The views, for the relatively easy physical effort, are probably podium-worthy spectacular. You are not far from Logan Pass. Yet you will not see another person…Jody and i love the solitude.

The Great Plains are next door

13-second video…Remnants of the former Bishops Cap Glacier…and the Many Glacier Valley…behind the far right mountains is The Great Plains.

Bishops Cap Glacier was long ago declassified as a Glacier. Now the video shows almost no memory of a glacier. But using your imagination, you can picture a massive glacier carving through the Many Glacier Valley.

Feeling full

15-sec video

This video is to a longtime client.

Many clients focus on what they cannot do, which limits their ability to see the things they can do.

Personally, this moment summiting Oberlin became an instant “dramatic leap” in results.

Having just astonishingly demolished last year’s personal record Oberlin summit time, i was full of myself.

Full of the location, the view, the unexpected accomplishment, the present moment.

Spending 62 days in Glacier last Summer, including 30 with Cheryl, it was an intensely gratifying “encore”.

Ever owned the place?

Short video: Mountains are the headliners. The valley floor deserves best supporting actress.

If you ever want to feel the text book version of small, go deep in the wilderness.

There are exceptionally wild places that have easy access. Yet at the fringes of seasonal accessibility, you can be alone in, say…a million acres of Grizzly Bear Country. Safe. Yet deeply primal without any human or artificial noise.
