Hikers with friends

Mountains and lake
Iconic Wild Goose Island. Reputed to be the most photographed spot in Glacier.

Hikers with friends.

Multiple trips with friends:

  • Probable trip to bike Going-to-the-Sun Road before it opens
  • Annual Family trip with Chapin’s friends and with a friend’s family (a first)
  • Cheryl will be out for five weeks on two trips
  • Dave & Nancy, John & Lori for a week sharing a cottage with us
  • Chuck and Barb for a week sharing a cottage with us

Cautiously optimistic that no matter the challenges (wildfires, terrorists, health, etc), the Summer will unfold as it is destined by the Universe.

Stairway to Heaven?

Disney speaker Jeff Noel biking up a mountain
Have done it with our Son and have done it solo. June 2019.

In 2020, due to Covid, didn’t arrive to Glacier until mid-August. Well past Sun Road biking season.

In 2021 (last year), delayed first Glacier trip until July, once again missing Sun Road biking season.

Glacier Church

National Park Lodge
Lake McDonald Lodge is a great place to stay in early June.

Glacier Church is a metaphor for the whole Park being a “Church” – a place to worship.

Worship: Giving thanks, basking in the mystery of Faith, discerning your place in our world, asking yourself what is left undone and what is better left undone.
