As i type this (and you’ll see tomorrow), there is snow on every peak around. Today is August 27, not January 27.

The final week of August leading into Labor Day weekend is one of the season’s busiest. That’s me waving in the rental car.

Live every day as if it’s your last (because it could be).

This statement, too, means nothing without intentional, over-focused effort.

Ifs, ands, and buts (mostly ifs) (GNP trip 4, spirit)

Our spirit is not fed with unfulfilled ifs.

If is a dangerous word.

If can be addicting.

If can be inspiring.

If can be an excuse.

If can bring hope.

Alcohol can bring temporary relief, or gradually diminished capacity to cope with the real word in sober terms.
