A great spirit can be lonely if…

Shane is in front of Jeremy, pictured here. This trail is all new to me. Dragon’s Tail on the right.
Panorama of Dragon’s Tale (center). Hidden Lake on the right, Fusillade Mountain on left.
We made a left from where i took this photo and started climbing straight up, using all fours because of the steep grade. The peninsula curving left intrigues me.
As we climbed the views continued to stun us.
Shane (L) and Jeremy moved and secured a big rock that was too loose and hence a safety issue.
The highest i’ve ever climbed. There was still hundreds more feet up through rock climbing and i had already exceeded all my expectations.
Dragon’s Tale got smaller as did Hidden Lake (center).

A great spirit can be lonely if…

You don’t lift others up, so that they can lift others up.

Get high when you can

Logan Pass on the Mt. Oberlin ascent.
Making great time, well above the Oberlin saddle.
At the summit.
Taken from the summit, the baby came back up for another look.

Get high when you can.

While you can no longer see from the summit when you descend, you still know.

You cannot know if you do not summit.

Same applies to your dreams.

Dream big, get there, stay there.

Continuously improve.

Forgiveness, surrender, gratitude, compassion, and so on – these are big dreams you should know from first-hand experience.

Those crazy Christians

While my home was once in the path’s bullseye, it’s not lost on me that it now moves into someone else’s bullseye.

Who will you call if you find yourself in Hurricane Dorian’s devastating aftermath?

Those crazy Christians.

Boo!

Disneyland Jungle Cruise vintage photo
My first role in the Disney Show, January 25, 1982, “Jungle Jeff”.

Intentionally picked Halloween 2014 as the official Disney retirement date.

Could have picked any date.

Why Halloween?

So i can say, “After 30 years at Disney, it was really scary to leave.”

Boo!

Trust your spiritual gut

Little did i know Dan’s wisdom and expert opinion to trust my gut would save me from a dangerous situation.

Dan said in his 30-year career with Grizzlies on the Blackfeet reservation, he’s done everything but play dead.

He said every situation is different and just do the first thing you instinctively feel in that present moment.
