There are some among us who have been to hell and back (and we all have) but you would never know because they never talk about how awful it was. All they talk about is how grateful they are to be back.

Be kind to those positive, happy souls who do not seem to be affected by tragedy, heartbreak, overwhelming stress and pressure and the entire catalog of other challenges.

Anyone hearing that echo?

We can argue (unproductively) that life should be easier, but life will never be easy as an adult. Try to find an animal that has an easy life in nature.

Insight: The sooner we quit wishing for ease, the sooner we can accept, and begin to enjoy, the hard work ahead of us.
