Yesterday, for the fist time in years (probably longer), I saw the color of my skin

Martin Luther King Jr. quote
Thank God for Martin Luther King Jr. Seriously.

Mentioned yesterday there’s a likelihood we’ll see thoughts on Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman.

Not sure if i can do it.

Whether it’s worth it.

If it will make it better, or worse.

Surreal.

Can you be a Christian and claim hopelessness?

Frederick Douglass slavery quote

Seems hypocritical, to my ear anyway.

Christianity is implicitly designed to be the antidote.

If we don’t feel close to God, guess who moved?

Right?

Or am I missing something?

For her parents, it must be the most exciting, and frightening, time of their lives.

Give them roots and give them wings.

Looks good on paper.
