Bless This Day?

Do you know your neighbors? I mean, do you have dinner with them and do social things with them?

As our cousin, Mike, and I finished our run yesterday, we stopped to talk with a neighbor who was walking her two dogs.

Her husband, recently retired, was at the August 28 Glenn Beck rally and I asked, “What did he think?”

She said he was very inspired. The message was about returning honor and God to our society.

We can only hope, eh? And maybe, just maybe, we start with the person in our mirror.

What Will It Take?

When you’re waiting for the light to turn green, sitting in your vehicle, or on the bus, does your mind ever wander into crazy territory?

You think of something and you can’t recall where such a powerful thought was born.

Ann Rice recently denounced organized religion.

Her son is gay. Anne Rice is in conflict.

It occurred to me that she is committing the very sin she is opposing.

What will it take?

Yesterday In The Subway Line

Wish I Packed My Lunch More Often
Wish I Packed My Lunch More Often

When was the last time you felt Divine providence? Anyone in the last 18 hours?

Eat fresh, right? Jared, the Subway sandwich guy lost a gazillion pounds eating fresh. The lunch time line was long.

Had iPad in hand, to do some work and remain productive.

After ten minutes in line, the tall man behind me says, “How do you like your iPad”.

Eric (the tall man), a former Youth Pastor, and now a Church founder, was visiting from Texas for some leadership training here in Orlando.

Listening to Eric’s story as we waited our turn to pay, it was astonishing to hear that he fasted for 40 days, and God led him to start a Church.

WOW!

Start a Church.

Make no small plans people.
