Client trust is easier with referrals, and more challenging through random pairing.

i’ve been spoiled by a lifetime of client trust while working as an official Disney leader.

Now, i’m having fun becoming the best Disney speaker no one’s ever heard of.

(the repetition in today’s posts is intentional and by design, to illustrate why it’s important, and why it’s challenging – people do not like seeing the same thing over and over – one of your first organizational hurdles is solving for this)

Most executives, most staff, and most organization spend the majority of their days doing good or very good work.

This creates a leadership culture where good, or very good, is the bullseye by default.

What if excellence was the bullseye, by design?

What would it take for executives, staff, and the entire organization to spend most of their days doing excellent work?

The “what would it take” is precisely what my Disney-inspired corporate architecture solves for.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

 

Can you trust our Government?

Three piles from three separate deliveries.

 

What does forgiveness and patience look like?

It looks like the ability to let things go.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) offer a vacation mail hold. We had two weeks vacation with one day back in between, but asked USPS to hold everything until the end.

The pile on the left was in our box after the first week. The middle pile after the second week. Both piles were supposed to be held until the final day.

The third pile also wasn’t delivered on the final day. It was delivered two days late.

Epic failure.

Forgiveness and letting it go ultimately bring solace.

Everyone is fighting a hell know one knows about.

Here’s to hoping USPS gets through theirs.

And here’s to hoping you get through yours too.
