What teaching teaches that studying can’t

Simple = To teach is to learn twice

 

We study. We read. We attend seminars. Etc.

All of these with the intent of becoming a better person in our spirit.

And yet, some will discover, that teaching teaches us even more than studying.

Learning more, eventually, reveals the wisdom that it matters little to walk to do the preaching, if not the walking is the preaching.

Since death could happen at anytime, why not do these three things today:

  1. say I love you to the people that we love
  2. spend the day on cloud 9 because of all our blessings
  3. remember that death should be a glorious privilege to welcome

Crazy talk?

Crazy not to, no?

And here’s the one most glaring metric to use to know if we’re making a difference. This metric.

Why do people smile, and why don’t they?

  • we smile to welcome people
  • we smile because it feels good and looks good
  • we don’t smile because we’re preoccupied with the smilers
  • we don’t smile because we’re bitter
  • smilers smile because it’s all they know

There, it’s been said.

Smilers smile because it’s all they know – and they know it beats the alternative.

And it’s a VIP pass to living gratefully. All day. Everyday.
