Everyday feeling

We think, we move, we feel, we contribute, we dwell.

Everyday feeling accumulates into a life.

Everyone needs to watch this

disney customer service keynote speaker
Disney Customer Service Keynote Speaker. Yeah, that’s me.

You’re entire team needs to watch this before we get started.

Why?

If you need an explanation, you will never understand. Likely not deep in your heart anyway. Maybe intellectually, but not deep in your organization’s heart. And that’s exactly what you need (forever).

The wild helps me at home

broken car interior door handle
Interior driver’s seat car door handle broke a few days ago. Figured out how to still make it work. Had i not, would have had to craw across the center console and exit from the front passenger door. Or, craw out the driver’s seat window.

Passenger side. This is what the broken door handle used to look like.
26-second video: Only life’s essentials. But the million-dollar question is, “What should i pack?” The wilderness classroom teaches willing students what is essential and what is not. A car that runs is essential. A new car is not. Have never owned a new car. The car door handle that broke is 35 years old.

The wild helps me at home.

Big time (btw).

How? Why?

How? Well, the wild is the wild. You can’t go into the wild with much. Why? Because all you have access to is whatever fits in your pack. The size of the pack you’re willing to carry is the bottomline.

Why? Well, the wild teaches me a cosmic truth. Ensure you are fully prepared before you pack your pack (life) with non-essentials.

Should we pray

prove healthcare web page
Home administration, and being busy can distract us from counting our blessings and asking the cosmos to bless others with their unique needs. Been jamming (aka busy) on end-of-year-2024 paperwork and new-year-2025-launch paperwork.

Should we pray, even when we don’t know:

How to

If it will make a difference

If others disagree

In Disney’s spirit

Disney leaders at a January 2025 reunion
L-R: Rick Allen, the organizer. Kim and Sheryl.

Working (serving) in Disney Leadership was (is) a heaven and hell juxtaposition.

Heaven is in the Disney Mission to serve.

Hell is in the work and sacrifice it often takes to operate at the highest level all day, every day, day after day, for an entire career.

And like my prolific daily blogging, there is never a day off.

Heaven is in the team that works together to create Magic.

Hell is in the relentless public expectation for ‘perfection’.

Ps. Thank goodness for the concept of Onstage and Backstage.
