Beauty and laughter

Grinnell Glacier trail is beautiful.

This video will make you laugh.

Beauty and laughter.

Enjoy beauty and laughter for all they are worth.

Seriously, why wouldn’t you?

Tell me again why

Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and Santa stamps purchased yesterday. Why? To remind me of my white, Christian privilege, and how insensitive this privilege is.

Tell me again why.

Why do you continue to do the things you do?

Do all your actions emotionally serve you?

Emotional/spiritual vibrancy doesn’t fall from the sky.

You get there by over-focusing on the same things you used to under-focus on or ignore.

A priceless gift worth cherishing.

Rock on.

He’s coming home tonight

Water is too cold for my blood. It may be okay for his new-found northern blood.

Our college freshman son is coming home tonight.

Today is, indeed, Thanksgiving Day.

Next level

One of my favorite photos of us.

Next level spiritual and emotional core.

Is it possible to completely eliminate fear from end-of-life thoughts?

There’s only one way to find out.

This is the spiritual part on my Next. Well, that and spending as much time with Cheryl as possible.

Once a year is better

No breeze at 6:30 AM yesterday.
On yesterday morning’s pre-sunrise walk, a moment to admire our neighbor’s front yard. John is a Marine and was a Gunner in Vietnam.
Later yesterday.
John is proud of his service to our Country. Old Glory fueled by a warm November breeze.

Veterans Day 2019 was yesterday.

One day a year to honor our Veterans seems disproportionate to the blanket of Freedom we sleep under every night.

Here is a way of realizing that honoring our Veterans once a year is better than not having an official day…and what you might do starting November 12, today…

We come to know the true meaning of Veterans Day when we learn to celebrate it every day.

Hate the war, love the warrior.
