79-second video: Planning for death is not a morbid task.

There may be more than two types of death, but the only two that come to mind for me are :

  1. Sudden, unexpected.
  2. Expected.

You can plan intentionally for both.

Historically humans rarely plan for the first.

Also historically, some humans plan for the expected death: will, power of attorney, advanced directive, etc.

This expected-death scenario omits a human’s option to intentionally exit before they become mentally or physically capacitated.

Best time to worry spiritually

Five family elders and an eighth-grader

Who’s the most peaceful and content person you know?

Eventually, you should be your answer.

Once again visualize the opposite: anxiety and discontent.

As you can see the predictable life pattern, slow and steady compound interest for peace and contentment. Or slow and steady compound interest on anxiety and discontent.

The beauty with consistent self-reflection is your ability to see the obvious, the familiar, the way – the only smart choice.

Your desire to invest slowly and steadily in honing the good habits and shedding the bad habits is what reaps the harvest from compound interest….peace and contentment.

Peace with who you are.

Content with what you have.

Best planning time

speech notes
Speech notes for 3-hour session. Planned the activities. Everything else is already locked and loaded in my head and heart.

Best time to plan for what’s next is when you don’t need to.

Next level

One of my favorite photos of us.

Next level spiritual and emotional core.

Is it possible to completely eliminate fear from end-of-life thoughts?

There’s only one way to find out.

This is the spiritual part on my Next. Well, that and spending as much time with Cheryl as possible.

Less than six months to live?

Disney's Jungle Cruise Christmas tree
Yesterday. Fun. Creative. Wacky.

One week ago on December 8 was the official “six months remaining to live” from the original “what would you do if you had 10 years left to live?”

Such an obscure, crazy, and uncomfortable goal.

What if it transforms my life?

What if it alienates me from others?

What if?

Life is full of habits and rituals that never allow most humans to legitimately and originally answer, “What if?”

This is the headwaters for regret.
