Yesterday morning i didn’t tell Cheryl i was making stir fry for dinner. Instead, i texted a photo at dinner time.
A person who is well has no need for a physician. Was reminded shortly after waking this morning that Jesus came to help the poor in spirit.
In a hard-to-explain way, i write to do the same thing.
Our son (15) began blogging again last night after a two-year hiatus. But first he deleted every post he wrote since 2008. i told him not to announce that “I’m blogging again, blah, blah, blah”.
Rather, i suggested that he write, and at some point in the future announce it.
Don’t tell us what you’re gonna do. Tell us what you’ve done.
No one builds a reputation on what they’re gonna do.

i’m sitting in a Best Western Valparaiso hotel room, writing the five daily, differently-themed blog posts like i have every day for the past 2,358 days.
Somehow over the past 6.5 years i’ve written a 100-day surplus of posts on all five websites.
This one, being written on September 15, will post on Christmas eve.
Whatever you celebrate, may you find peace, joy, love, and hope in it.
Thankful everyday for this middle school classroom and teacher.
Can you easily make a decent daily list of blessings without too much thought?
Yesterday i was thankful for:
Mother-In-Law’s successful heart ablation surgery and dismissal from the hospital.
Having a teen who is maturing nicely.
Having an old car that always starts.
Having really nice running shoes.
Having the motivation to exercise regularly.
Living amongst the world’s best theme parks.
Having a world-class Orlando Gold’s Gym nearby.
Having healthcare insurance to cover most of my physical therapy.
Being a small business entrepreneur with big dreams.
Having 30 years of Disney experience from which to build the business.
Having a Twistee Treat Ice Cream place two blocks from school.
Etc, etc.
Writing five daily, free, differently themed blogs for 2.1k+ consecutive days is one of the most ridiculously impossible goals anyone could ever imagine.
