The true test of our spiritual upbringing – and our spiritual conviction – is how we demonstrate it as we get closer to the reality of our death.

Do we believe that going to Church once a week for an hour is good enough?

What’s missing seems obvious and invisible depending who you ask. Humans can easily suffer from the overwhelm that surrounds our day to day living and trying to manage it all.

Without a feeling of emotional community nor a reassurance of an omnipotent source of love, we are left lonely and defeated. We need a loyal (to the death) ally.

God? Jesus? Mohammed? Buddha? Nature? What?

Colonoscopy # 10

Gastroenterologist's office
Yesterday, bi-annual Gastroenterologist visit.

 

Having a strong, peaceful spirit makes life easier (but not easy) to deal with.

Our 15 year old has had nine colonoscopies in nine years.

After yesterday’s bi-annual Gastroenterologist visit, we are scheduling number 10 before the end of the year.
