Day 23 WGcab, spirit

36-second video: Exotic. Diverse. Endangered? The bird, the water, the land, the Glaciers.
Woman hiking in mountains
Big fans of downhill hiking.

Downhill hiking on a busy trail means a lot of stepping aside for ascending hikers.

Trails are generally narrow and provide limited (and often hard to find) space to step aside.

The perk of hiking ‘unpopular’ trails is you can practically own the trail.

An additional benefit is the solitude.

Another, the vulnerability.

All told, it’s glorious.

Woman at trailhead sign
Noon (Apple Watch). Good time to end a hike on a hot day.

It feels sinful to post these videos and photos.

Why?

Probably the lifetime of unseen effort and investment that led us here.

Day 21 WGcab, spirit

Honeymoon couple at high mountain retreat
Mid-morning. We already stripped our beds. Not required, but we do it anyway. It’s a “Disney-thing”.

Drink in the infinite blessings the Cosmos offers, without warning.
