Spiritual joy

Spiritual joy.

Joy.

From Google (the previous line hyperlink)…

Joy is a profound, lasting emotion of intense happiness, contentment, and delight often arising from a sense of well-being, success, or deep spiritual purpose. Unlike fleeting pleasure, it often persists regardless of circumstances, serving as a deep, inner state of gladness.

Note, didn’t yellow-highlight the above sentence. It simply resulted from the copy/paste of the first definition.

So spiritual joy is all of that, spiritually.

Pretty cool investment to get results like that.

Spiritual teamwork

Spiritual teamwork.

Teamwork makes the dream work.

No person is an island.

The exception is the exception.

Our emotions and beliefs drive our actions, and, inactions.

Our actions and inactions drive how others experience us.

How others experience us determines if they want to join our team, and stay on our team.

Friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, etc.

Your first, most important friend is yourself.

All of this starts with our beliefs.

Whatever you believe, make it good and decent, for everyone.

Spiritual setbacks

Spiritual setbacks.

They’re gonna happen.

You’ll be consistently challenged your entire life by small, medium and large challenges. Spiritual challenges you see coming, and spiritual challenges you never see coming.

#truth

Doubts and fears — versus — hopes and dreams.

Profuse, perverse, and pervasive societal norms that promote a low-standard of spiritual vibrancy expectations.

Few if any personal, lifetime role models.

A constant conflict with reality.

Wisdom comes from experience. Experience comes from making mistakes.

You can intentionally take small, calculated risks with your spirit. If your risk ‘fails’, it’s still a success because you learned something and any ‘damage’ was small , unnoticeable, and easily corrected.

Spiritual setbacks can diminish as you age if you embrace and cultivate deep peace and contentment. They can also multiply if you embrace an anxious, uncertain, fearful mindset.

The odds in either direction, however, seem to be influenced by architecting your personal vibrancy, with great intention.

Recovery from risks successful failures, by design, so to speak.

Remember, waiting and doing nothing are the twin siblings of self destruction.

If anything can go wrong, it will.

Or, using your peaceful and contented mindset, “If anything can go right, it will.”

Church is every step.

Peace is every step.

Spiritual reality

Reality defined.

From Google: “Reality encompasses the totality of all facts, events, and existence, regardless of whether they are known or observed. Key synonyms include actuality, truth, existence, substance, fact, and realness.”

Spiritual reality…

To me then, spiritual reality is the totality of all my gratitude, beliefs, prayers, and actions.

Hoping to consistently and overwhelmingly achieve, on a lifetime average, an exceptionally vibrant sense of peace and contentment.

Note: My goal in a perfect world, if and when our son goes looking for the face of Jesus in the real world, he won’t have to look farther than across the dinner table.

Reminder: If your goal isn’t impossible, you’re not reaching high enough.
