Sigma Phi Epsilon

College buddies
College reunion from a couple decades ago.

Little known fact of little interest…

Was a founding father in our college fraternity’s chapter.

Here we are 45+- years later and many of the founding fathers meet annually, to this day.

It’s like a family reunion but without childhood baggage.

Glen hosts an annual golfing get together that revolves around his Church’s April fundraiser.

Was planning to go, even as a non-golfer, to see everyone and enjoy precious time together.

Meanwhile, Cheryl found a European river cruise that she wanted to take me on.

Who am i to say no?

We leave April 19 and return May 3.

PS. The clock is ticking. For everyone.

Still sinking in, spirit

Another day in paradise, spirit

Another day in paradise.

Earthly paradise, with Heavenly DNA.

What?

Whatever heaven is, i think we get to experience it in every step we take.

Every day.

All day.

But only if we are present.

And now that i do not carry the daily, emotional labor of caring for (in a Disney-level way) clients, that emotional energy is now being reinvested in routine and new ways.

Paradise.

Showtime, spirit

Showtime.

Huh?

Showtime.

It’s showtime.

Been saying it since starting a quarter-century professional speaking career at Disney Institute in 1999.

And after 27 years of saying it, the context is different.

The context now…

The retirement show.

The final season of life.

Life’s final three segments: Retirement, old age, death.

Uncharted territory.

Making its debut in 2026 (now).

Still cleaning up and hoping, spirit

Still cleaning up and hoping nothing died.

Today’s thread is driven by ‘every’ Florida homeowner’s landscaping challenges and opportunities.

And in the hoping, freedom and peace.

Never let your memories be bigger than your dreams.

It’s a lot of effort to do the impossible, but it’s also fun.
