Live, and let live, spirit

American flag
Common sense tells Americans Freedom isn’t free.

Is “Live and let live” my mantra?

Yes.

In fact, i pair it like this…

To each their own. Live and let live.

Live and let live means you live your life and i’ll live mine.

As simple as it gets.

To each their own, spirit

four American flags
Let Freedom ring… be intentional with your responsibility… painstakingly intentional. Ps. This is me talking to me. Every American is free to handle their responsibility however they see fit.

What does it mean to me when i say, “To each their own”?

Every American is free to believe and do whatever they want.

The context, however, is that every American is a law-abiding citizen.

There’s also the context of the obvious American morals.

i am, like you are, free to do and believe whatever i want.

But, i must not take away your ability to live freely.

The easiest way for me, and everyone, to do this is to be a moral, law-abiding American citizen.

Indecent, spirit

Facebook update screen shot
Decent versus indecent will always be the common, most important battle.

How does something or someone get labeled (defined) indecent?

Miriam Webster dictionary defines indecent here.

Summarized, “grossly improper or offensive”.

Personally, i feel decent when i focus on love, honesty, forgiveness, surrender, patience. So, long ago, i began doing those things.

Also personally, i feel indecent when i do not focus on the above things. So, also long ago, i began feeding only the good wolf.

Good, spirit

tinker bell's face
A good face, but not the face i’m aiming for. i’m aiming for good and decent, not fantasy. Ps. Pixie Dust is real and quite good. My point, i’m not a pixie duster, imma humble servant (hopefully).

Is ‘good’ all it’s cracked up to be?

What if ‘bad’ was humanity’s standard?

What if hate was humanity’s standard?

Laws, spirit

church window reflection
Early morning light while we waited to begin my Father-In-Law’s funeral.

What are the laws of life that are time-tested, yet have no legal consequence?

Have you thought about, and even planned for, what happens after you die?

There’s no law mandating you MUST do this.

Maybe there should be.

Blinding flashes of the obvious have been hidden from most because most are followers.

Leaders need followers.

So do snake-oil salespeople.

It’s a self-fulfilling ecosystem.

Then there’s you.

What do you believe?
