Facebook revelation and sacrifice

Good Podcasting microphone
Recommended podcasting microphone arrived two days ago – no stranger to public social media.

Facebook revelation and a personal sacrifice yesterday which was prompted by my Moms’ birthdays. Both my maternal Mom and my step Mom had birthdays last week.

Besides sending flowers, i decided to begin changing my habit of FB privacy and post more Family photos, more often.

Facebook is really weird for me personally. i’ll spare you the details for now.

Write like you mean it

Disney business wisdom
Spent a lifetime under these conditions, thankfully. Photo taken with iPhone while reading Disney Institute’s blog.

Write like you mean it:

  • advisor
  • big picture
  • motivation
  • secret
  • so what
  • vibrancy
  • architecture
  • value
  • investment
  • bonus

Just a few of the topics that are used to intentionally thrive.

The other option is to use hope as a strategy, with little to no intentionality.

Writing like you mean it is a precursor to living like you mean it.

It’s heading our way.

Lightning delay forces everyone to the gym.

No panic, but also no strolling.

We waited 30 minutes and decided to leave.

Blessings can come from a place you never saw coming.

As unexpected as having a private high school minutes from home.

A choice you never considered until the last minute.

Life has a wonderful way of balancing out our hardships with incredibly unexpected joys.

Integrity of any kind is never wasted

Map My Run screen shot
Two days ago – from home to the HS school track and back.

In the blog you just came from, that story continues here. The day before, the High School Administrator sent all the parents an email update about the 30-minute school-wide student meeting on academic integrity.

i replied with a sincere, and specific note about how grateful i was for his focus.

This was done without expectation.

We can never know the blessings we will receive from acting with academic integrity, we can only have faith that integrity, of any kind, is never a waste of time.
