Disney’s Hollywood Studios motorcycle parking. Yesterday.
Security Officer Greg (22 years of service) and Brian (parking/security leader at Epcot) clarified that while bicycling on property is strongly discouraged, it is legal to do so.
My only “legal” requirement is to avoid “Authorized Vehicles Only” (AVO) roads with the main exception being the North property exit passing Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa or passing Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
These two northbound exits have AVO signs which do not apply to their official request.
In our closing conversations, and at our mutually agreeable verbal clarification – around 9:30AM in the Epcot Guest parking lot (near “handicapped” parking) – i am free to ride Northbound past either The Contemporary or Grand Floridian unto AVO roads in order to exit by Disney University. The ability to walk, bike, or if the weather is dangerous (lightning), drive to Disney University and visit is a simple blessing that is never lost on me.
Never.
Another blessing that doesn’t seem so, is the ability to slow down time – to a pace where blessings are visible, and a bit overwhelming, actually. (csn-txt photo from dining hall. thx)
