Just Yesterday

Thankful For Everything
Thankful For Everything

Do you reflect back on the last 24 hours and sort through the events that happened in your life?

You know, to evaluate what was great, good and just okay?

What if you did?

Or, if you are doing this, why do you do it and what keeps you doing it?

Each day is an opportunity to do great things – great things for ourselves, our friends, our families, and especially all those people less fortunate.

Just yesterday, I was blessed beyond measure. Thank you God for your Grace, your mercy and your never-ending love.

He Prayed For Me On The iPhone

Ever have something nice, and completely unexpected happen?

Late yesterday, while I was still in the office (yes, on a Saturday), my iPhone rang. It was Keith.

Keith and I rode the same school bus for 12 years. I was best man in his wedding, which was like two days after we graduated from the Spring Grove Area High School, in 1977.

Keith lives in Hawaii now, but while he was back home last week in our small town, he said he heard from others about my Faith.

Keith, me and Jesus.

An unlikely trio.

Not any more.

(This may take a few days to explain)

There’s No Way

Think Big. Start Small.
Think Big. Start Small.

As an adult, have you given any consideration to the things you want young people to remember? What if you did simple and easy habits or rituals that would leave an indelible impression on children?

Habits that help teach and shape their young lives and become memories they never forget.

Why? Because this is how we turn the world around.

How? Keep it simple, but profound.

And because your habits and rituals are ridiculously simple to do, and so easy to do, that the only excuse for not doing them is not caring. And how could you not care?

Please consider passing on this concept of care to the next generation. It may be the only hope our planet has.

And it starts with you.
