Blessed beyond measure

This past week, I’ve had a heightened sense of awareness of how lucky I feel, for a variety of reasons.

I will even go as far as to say I feel blessed beyond measure.

Why do I feel this way?

Because I carved out some time to reflect on a couple of serious challenges that I faced this week.

I hope you have a great weekend and that you find a little time for yourself.

If you do, you might also come to realize your fantastic blessings.

Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

PS. Jeremy Camp has a CD entitled “Beyond Measure”. Here’s one of his songs, “There Will Be a Day“, from You Tube:

Songs like this remind me of the blessing a simple promise holds. Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

How do you start each day?

On April 1, 2009, I accepted a long overdue challenge from our Priest.

And I’ve been doing it every day since.

Doing the math – that’s about 70 days in a row. Not a bad start, considering how long it took to finally make a commitment to change my habits.

What do I do each morning?

I’ll tell you tomorrow.

Just kidding.

I start each day on my knees. In prayer. I say my three, all-time favorite prayers.

If people only remember one thing about you after you’re gone, what will it be?

I hope for me, it’s. “Jeff had a thankful heart”!

Make it a GREAT day! Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

Magic?

Did the Orlando Magic do it? Did they make history, and win their first ever NBA finals game?

Here’s this morning’s Orlando Sentinel article.

Do you ever challenge yourself to make your own history?

I mean, do you try to get better at things, or make a bigger difference. Or do you settle for, “That’s just the way it’s supposed to be for me, because that’s the way it’s always been”.

Wishing you an historical day. Seize it! jeff noel 🙂

Orlando Magic and Disney Magic

Orlando Magic and Disney Magic.

Game three is being played as we speak.

There was a young girl, maybe seven years old, who sang the National Anthem.

My wife told me she is autistic.

While I don’t know the specific story, the summary is there was a time when she couldn’t talk. They discovered her passion to sing.

That changed the course of her life, and the life of her family too.

Who’s to say what’s impossible or possible?

Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

Maybe I’ll read the headlines tomorrow morning and the Orlando Magic will have won tonight’s game. Who’s to say……
