Are you still afraid to die?

Are you still afraid to die?

My thanksgiving hope for you is that you arrive at a place in your life where you can answer, “No.”

To die knowing you loved and modeled love

Disney Speakers
The intentionality and fun in this photo is gold-medal worthy.

To die knowing you:

Loved and modeled love.

Surrendered and modeled surrender.

Forgave and modeled forgiveness.

Gave thanks and modeled thanksgiving.

Served and modeled serving.

Hoped and modeled hope.

To die knowing yours was a life lived intentionally is to die well.

Is this an impossible thought?

Is this an impossible thought?

Is it possible to get excited about dying?

Gone-forever opportunity

18th birthday
The deadline coincided with seeing our son reach 18. This photo marked that accomplishment, two days ago.

As i approach the final six months of the original 10-year plan, and get closer to six months left until June 8, 2019, the intensity of wanting to teach is increasing to a new level.

Why?

Well, and i’ve been thinking about this for a month, there’s more at stake and less to lose.

Once you’re dead and gone, the opportunity, in person, is gone forever.

It’s the “gone forever opportunity” that is fueling the desire to get more real – or go to the grave with unspoken ideas, wishes, hopes, love.

Life is not a dress rehearsal, live like you mean it

Life is not a dress rehearsal, live like you mean it.

In the video above the author and the artist are different.

The mashup of the two is special.
