Time Talent Treasure = Stewardship

Stewardship of Time, Talent and Treasure.

Seems pretty simple. Three things. Important things. Things we all have. Things we can all share.

But do we?

Statistics show that only a small percentage rise above and volunteer in a sacrificial way.

Why? Why not?

Things that make you go, hmmmm……

What Was Your Answer?

Yesterday’s post asked, “What do followers want”?

What was your answer? Mine was simple.

Passion!

Followers want a leader who has passion. Passion to make a difference. Passion to do good. For other people.

Ever wonder why people do the things they do? Ever wonder why you do the things you do? I do. Tomorrow, I’ll share my “why?”. Let’s compare again. Not comparing to see who’s right or wrong, simply an exercise to get us thinking.

“An unexamined life is not worth living”. Why are you here? What’s your purpose? Carpe diem.

Is Today The Day?

Is it?

Is today the day you do the thing you’ve been wanting to do, but haven’t found the courage?

Do what you fear and the death of that fear is certain.

If not today, when?

Seriously. Carpe diem. 🙂

Then I Told Him That

“All I want to do is help you, and teach you, so you’ll learn the important things about life”.

He understands this.

Why? Because I’ve been saying it since he was an infant.

Over and over and over.

He knows that punishments or consequences are not something a parent wants to do, but something a great parent is obligated to do.

And we both are learning that even though society has long subscribed to “punishment for failure“, we are going to challenge the status quo with “reward for not failing“.

“Nothing you ever do for a child is ever wasted”.
