The Bright Side of Life?

“No one ever went blind by looking at the bright side of life”. — unknown

This kind of thinking isn’t for everyone. I get that.

This blog isn’t for everyone either. And I’m sorry about that.

You know what else I get, and feel sorry about? Not exactly sure myself.

I will say, like I always do, “I’d rather try and fail than not try, and live with regret”.

I stumbled upon a blog, led there by my LinkedIn home page today, and the author had a quote at the end that was significant in validating my mindset this year.

“Done is better than perfect”!

There, today’s post at jeffnoel.org is done. Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

The Obama’s Choose a Church

The Obama’s choose a Church.

Here’s the Time article I just found.

PS. This was for June 29. I forgot to hit the “publish” button. 🙂

How do I tell my son there is no cure?

How do I tell my son there is no cure?

I’m staring at an envelope I received yesterday.

It’s from CCFA.

I haven’t opened it yet, but I will.

On the front, it says:

A loving mother asks, “How do I tell my son there is no cure”?

Our son has had this disease for five years. He’s almost nine.

I don’t really have the energy to go into the story right now.

Maybe tomorrow. Maybe not.

There are worse things in the world. Worse diseases. Worse odds. Worse everything.

In some strange way, it almost makes me feel blessed to only have the challenge we have. Knowing full well, for many, it’s worse.

As I pray for our son, and for my wife, I will also lift up all those who are suffering, which should be everyone.

Anyway, have a nice evening. Peace, Joy and Love, jeff noel 🙂

Final Chapter jeffnoel.org

Here’s the final chapter at jeffnoel.org and the story of Little Dovey, Orlando’s miracle baby dove.

Last night, my son and I went over to the nest to check on the progress. Here’s what we found:

In 12 short days, Little Dovey left the nest.

Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

I hope you are able to spread your wings and fly too.

Next to last chapter

Here’s the next to last chapter on Little Dovey, Orlando’s miracle dove, from two days ago – June 24.

This story has a final ending, which I’ll post tomorrow. Have a great Friday night. Carpe PM, jeff noel 🙂
