Is it possible to simultaneously represent yourself

Shriner's statue
What’s gonna happen when one of you has limited time left on Earth?

Is it possible to simultaneously represent yourself as a Christian, even if you’re non-denominational and don’t go to Church – is it possible to say you believe in love, kindness, generosity, compassion, hope, faith, forgiveness and yet get angry with blood relatives to the point of being so angry you refuse to talk to each other?

A World Without Christmas?

Only Crumbs
Only Crumbs

“Can you imagine a world without Christmas?” Father Kenny

It’s only been one month, but I miss Christmas.

How about you? Do you miss Christmas?

Can still remember what our Priest said (above) at Christmas Mass. Can you imagine?

Oh, I get it, most people aren’t thinking about Christmas today, unless they are reminded from their credit card bill. Makes sense, I guess.

Christmas comes once a year. Lights, trees, songs, TV specials, food, gifts, traditions…

But what if we celebrated it everyday?

Can you imagine a world with Christmas everyday?

Twas the Night Before

Peace, Everyday - Minnesota

“Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.”

After yesterday’s loooong post, just wanted to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas.

May the peace that surpasses all understanding, and the love that is never ending, bless you this day with unspeakable joy!

I Don’t Know How to Start

A lifetime of learned behaviors. Life is hard. And mostly difficult. And busy. And distracting.

Some days, maybe while watching a movie or TV show, we see a Family that seems to have it all together and wonder why we can’t live like that.

It’s a movie, okay? It’s not real. Yet perhaps there’s some compromise between what’s portrayed in books and movies, and what is our current reality.

Maybe. maybe not.

I’d like to find out.

Carpe diem, jeff 🙂
